Appelation: Dry Creek

A truly elegant Syrah that could be described as a Northern Rhone Syrah.  Think Cornas, Hermitage, St Joseph.  Ripe black and blue brambly fruits highlight the aroma with well integrated notes of fig.   The fruit is rounded by pepper and floral notes characteristic of Syrah.  14 months aging in oak polish the tannins and provide more flavors of spices.  A wine that should blow your mind and will make you believe in California.
