From León, travel west to Ponferrada to visit the imposing Templar Castle, a powerful symbol of medieval Spain and the Camino de Santiago. The day concludes with a relaxed lunch crafted by a Basque-trained chef, thoughtfully paired with wines from Valle del Recunco, with an intimate guided tasting led by David Arias, founder of the winery, offering firsthand insight into the wines and their unique Bierzo terroir.
