Raices Ibericas

A conservative estimate on the amount of Spanish native grape varietals hovers around 70. We've read about higher amounts, but 70 is pretty impressive if you ask us.  Raices Ibericas was born with the goal of unearthing the true value of Spanish wines highlighting only Spanish Varietals.   Currently Raices produces 19 monovarietals with native Spanish grapes and 2 proprietary blends, a red and a white one.  Additionally, Raices Ibericas has a line of wines solely on Garnacha.  They procure Garnacha throughout Spain and even a couple of places in France.  Part of the Garnacha project looks to highlight the Garnacha from Calatayud in the province of Aragon.  A little know high altitude corner in Spain that is capable of producing very high quality Garnacha that is juicy, light and fresh.  Expect to see very exciting things in our portfolio from this young venture.
