Bodegas García de Lara, a family-run winery with roots dating back to 1878, is located just outside Toledo, about an hour from Madrid. The estate is dedicated to crafting exceptional single-vineyard wines that honor the terroir and environment. Sourcing grapes from its three main vineyards—Villalobillos, La Cueva, and Colora—the winery meticulously cultivates old-vine Airén, now recognized for its potential to produce high-quality, expressive wines. With a philosophy grounded in sustainability and respect for tradition, García de Lara’s wines capture the essence of Castilla’s rich winemaking heritage. Now available in the U.S., these wines invite you to discover the true character of the region.

Available in the US are three wines:  i) La Cueva Colora, a Cencibel (Tempranillo); ii) Villalobillos, a young Airen, and iii) Villalobillos aged in oak, also an Airen tthat spends 12 months aging in French oak.
