AV Bodeguers: Where the Pyrenees Meet the Mediterranean

Nestled in the rugged beauty of the Alt Empordà, AV Bodeguers is a soulful family project led by Ferran and Miriam. Based in the charming village of Vilamaniscle, their vines grow at the crossroads of dramatic landscapes—where the final foothills of the Pyrenees mountains plunge toward the crystalline waters of the Costa Brava.

The identity of their wines is inseparable from this terroir. Each name is a tribute to the surroundings that nurture the grapes. Take Suneus, for example; its name is rooted in Greek mythology and translates to "the sunrise." It is a nod to the breathtaking sunrises of the Empordà, where the first light of Spain hits the coast, reflecting off the slate-rich soils that give these wines their distinct, mineral character.
