From old vines (25-70 years old) in Rioja Alavesa on the hills at the foot of mount Garu, comes this wine elaborated by the capable hands of the team of Carlos Moro. Calcareous soils, the slopes of the hills, and the altitude at which these vines are from, achieve a slow ripening of the grapes which translate into an easy to drink, fresh, yet robust Tempranillo.  The wine reflects the characteristics you expect from a Tempranillo: prunes, dark berries, and bramble. Aging of 12 months in French oak polish the tannins and provide subtle notes of spices like tobacco and rosemary.
